Our Sunday gatherings are a time of singing, prayer, and hearing preaching that is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a time of celebration of what Jesus has done to lead us into our week resting in the sufficiency of Christ.
GraceLife Church is a mixture of people from all walks and stages of life. Young and old alike being discipled through the ordinary means of Grace. We gather, we hear, and we speak the Gospel that has changed our lives.
Gathering
We call our Sunday services gatherings. Our building isn’t the church, our people gathered together are. The Sunday gathering is a celebration bringing the church together, a family get-together, for a time of encouragement and exhortation with a focus on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our gatherings are casual and simple. We believe anyone would feel comfortable even if you’re investigating who Jesus is.
Singing
We sing a variety of songs both old and new. We sing before the preaching and after because singing is an opportunity to both prepare for and respond to the proclamation of the Gospel. The music ministry is part of the teaching ministry at GraceLife. This means we believe that songs make theology portable and can teach us the truths of the Gospel in a meaningful way that is easy to remember and builds faith throughout our week.
Preaching
We preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is, that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead for the forgiveness of sin to those who believe (1 Cor. 15:3-11). This is the Gospel that frames all of our messages. In our sermons we teach exegetically, meaning we teach straight through books of the Bible. We will also routinely mix topical series in as well but even in those sermons we will teach through a passage of Scripture. Our aim for every message is that it will be Gospel centered, accessible, and relevant.
Life
We believe our Sunday gatherings are a big part of our weekly rhythms, but we also believe that there is more to the life of the church. Meaning that you will hear the Gospel proclaimed, the Scriptures taught, you will be empowered and equipped for ministry, but community, relationships, and discipleship cannot be fully experienced in a Sunday gathering. Our Sunday gatherings are celebrations but the real life of the church happens throughout the week in Grace Groups and relational community.
We invite you to dive deeper by being a part of a Grace Group. Grace Groups are where we get to know each other beyond the surface, where we build relationships that matter. We believe that the preaching and teaching of the Gospel will produce a healthy Gospel culture. Relationships are at the core of Gospel culture. First, with God the Father through Christ the Son. Second, with one another. It is a beautiful blessing to be known and to know others. For more info on Groups, click here.
Welcome
No matter who you are or where you come from, we want you to be welcome at our gatherings. We are a family of believers who gather, grow, go, and give as disciples who make disciples. Come join us!
